SC Vouchers Available For Working Parents
DSS is offering additional SC Vouchers to working parents for a limited time. If you know anyone who can benefit from these services, please feel free to share. This is in addition to the local scholarships through Florence County First Steps, but administrated through DSS.

As part of efforts to assist families during the COVID-19 pandemic, DSS is offering child care assistance for working parents. The number of vouchers is limited based on funding availability, and parents must meet income and other requirements to qualify.
In order to qualify, you must be currently working at least 15 hours a week or attending school or training, and your family’s gross income must be at or below 300 percent of the federal poverty level.
